Generic: Clindamycin Phosphate 1.2% + Tretinoin 0.025%

Indication: Acne Vulgaris.

Ingredients:

 Clindamycin: Clindamycin binds with the 50s ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria and prevents elongation of peptide chain by interfering with the peptidyl transfer, thereby suppressing bacterial protein synthesis.

• Tretinoin: Tretinoin decreases the cohesiveness of follicular epithelial cells and increases the turn over thereby brings the comedones out.

***A polypeptide chain is comprised of amino acids that are linked together to form the building blocks of proteins.

Application Guideline:

Apply a thin film of gel to the affected areas of the face once daily in the evening after washing the face well.

Precaution:

 Application of the gel may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight than usual. Therefore, it is best to apply it in the evening time and wash it off after 1 hour of the application.

• Indicated for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris in patients 9 years of age and older.
• Medications containing topical retinoid such as tretinoin should be avoided during pregnancy.
